Karen Cahill

Karen was known to her family as Wabby, Karen grew up in Killybegs amongst a loving family. She moved to Galway 9 years ago, having lived the past 4 years in Tuam. In Galway she met Eoin where they have been together nearly five years and where Matthew was born in 2017, bringing so much joy. 

Karen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in UCH, Galway. Karen is lovingly regretted by her partner Eoin and son Matthew, She will be deeply missed by her mother Emer and husband Ed, brothers Shane, Dara and sister Grace, her father Stuart and wife Fiona and her brother Fionn, grandparents Brian and Emer, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandaunts and granduncles and the extended Cahill, Conway, Burns, Travers and Byrnes families and her many friends.

In accordance with Government and H.S.E. Guidelines the wake and funeral are private.

Karen remains will be reposing at her mother Emer's residence on Friday from 12 noon to 8pm. Funeral from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am, via the Old road joining the Shore road, to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am requiem Mass for immediate family only, please, with burial afterwards in the cemetery.
