Karen Daly (O'Connell)

Karen Daly, Kenny Heights, Cahirdown, Listowel, Co. Kerry. Peacefully, on March 1st, 2026 surrounded by her loving and adoring family in the comforting care of the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her mother Geraldine. Beloved wife of Owen and devoted Mommy to her darling children Saoirse, Dylan and Gavin. Sadly missed by her heartbroken father Leo, sister Laura and her husband Wesley and their children Isla and Ethan, her parents-in-law Tommy and Mary O'Connell, sister-in-law Emma and her husband Noel and their children Flynn and Siún, brother-in-law Gareth and his wife Paula and their daughter Éala, all her extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, work colleagues and friends in the Bons Secours Hospital Tralee and the rehab team at Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence in Currans and her many loyal and cherished friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel (V31 PF66) on Wednesday, March 4th from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church, Listowel (V31 RW98) on Thursday morning at 10.15am, with the Requiem Mass for Karen being celebrated at 10.30am, live-streamed on www.listowelparish.com , followed by burial afterwards in Lislaughtin Abbey, Ballylongford.
