Karen passed peacefully from this life, following a short illness, on Tuesday 7th July in University Hospital Galway. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John (formerly Shudane, Athenry), sons Séan (Brighton), Liam (London), Zoe (partner of Séan), Sophie (fiancé of Liam), grandson Louis, mum Simona (Trinidad), brothers, sisters, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

May Karen's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

In keeping with HSE and public health guidelines on public gatherings, Karen will repose at her home with restricted numbers on Thursday 9th July from 4pm to 6pm. Please respect that Covid 19 guidelines will be in place as directed.  Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Karen's Soul with immediate family and friends on Friday 10th July at 11am in Saint Brigid's Church, Portumna. Karen's cortegé will leave her house at 10:30 to make its way to the church. Friends and neighbours are invited, if they wish, to stand at their gates or line the route as a mark of respect and support to the family. Please maintain social distance for each other as directed by HSE and Public Health. Burial will take place after Mass in Templemoyle Cemetery, Newcastle, Athenry.
