The death has occurred of
Karen Heffernan
HEFFERNAN (Cork) On 10th October 2025 peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, KAREN, St. John’s Well, Fairhill and late of Mount Farran, Blackpool. Dearly beloved mother of Liam, Jonathan, Ciara and Niamh, devoted nana and nanny of Holly, Josh, Maddison, Nóirín, Billy, Everleigh and Mira, loving daughter of the late Billy and Kay and dearest sister of Siobhan, Phil, Marie and Liam.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Elva and Erin, sons-in-law Shane, Darren and Paul, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence, 22, St. John’s Well, Fairhill, T23 T8N1 on Monday (13th October) from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (14th October) at 12 noon in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool. The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Karen in the ICU Ward of the Mercy University Hospital.
