Kenny, Karen (nee Faherty), Glann, Oughterard and formerly Clifden, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 26th of April 2021. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Aidan, her children Daniel and Jodie, her parents Teresa and Martin, her siblings - Sarah, Kat, Paddy, Mary-Ann, Marissa and Stephen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends and former colleagues at St. Paul's Secondary School, Oughterard.

Rest in Peace

Karen's funeral cortege will leave her home in Glann to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, for Mass at 11 o'clock on Thursday, the 29th of April. Burial immediately afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Care West. House private by request.

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
