Karen O' CALLAGHAN

Formally of Tradaree Court, Shannon, Co. Clare.

With broken hearts and profound sadness, we announce Karen O' Callaghan died from brain cancer on 19 October 2025 at Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick.

Predeceased by her Mum, Mary O' Callaghan.

Karen will be forever missed and remembered with so much love by her sons Jimmy and Cian, sister Dee, fiancè Pa, brother-in-law Phil, nephew Casey, niece Amanda and her husband Dean, great niece and nephews Ella, Myles and Zac, aunts Angela, Bernadette, Dolores and Phil, uncles Bob, Sean, Noel, and Pat, cousins, the McKenna family, compassionate carers, a dedicated support team, special life-long neighbours including Veronica Kelly, Mary and John Doyle, and her wonderful friends.

Karen's determination to overcome the challenges posed by cancer showed a remarkable level of strength and resilience. She did not go down without first giving it one hell of a fight.

A soul well-loved who left this world far too soon.

 

May her gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

 

Karen will repose in Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Shannon, on Thursday, (October 23rd) from 4.30pm to 6.00pm followed by removal to Mary Immaculate Church. Funeral Mass Friday (October 24th) at 12.30pm. Funeral Mass can be viewed live Here
