Karl Briem

Briem, Karl, (Ballinlough, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Rosberg, Germany) - 24th April 2021, peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the doctors, nurses, and staff of Our Lady of Knock Ward, the Galway Clinic. Karl will be sadly missed by his loving wife Romy, sons Ronan and Daniel, mother Klara, sister Erika, granddaughter Fiona, daughters-in-law Sheila and Manuela, sisters-in-law Barbara, Lisa and Ria, brother-in-law Ralf, niece Marianne, relatives and friends.

Due to Government guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community a private family funeral will take place. Karl's funeral cortege will leave Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea at 12.30pm on Tuesday travelling via Ballinlough and Ballyhaunis to Shannon Crematorium for a private cremation.  Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route on Tuesday afternoon in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect for Karl.
