Kate Coveney

Coveney (Bandon and Waterfall Road, Bishopstown) on August 12th 2022 peacefully after a short illness at the Bon Secours Hospital in the presence of her loving family. Kate (Cork Co. Co.), dearly beloved mother of Seána and Róisín, her cherished partner John (O'Donovan), daughter of the late Paddy and Peggy and sister-in-law of the late Pat Finn.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters, partner, brothers John and Pat, sisters Mary (Finn) and Helen (Moon), sisters-in-law Marion and Caitriona, brother-in-law Steve. Adored by her nieces and nephews Conor, Aidan, Padraig, Sean, Niamh, Dee, Paudy, Sophie, Kieran, Kristian, Cameron and Kate, relatives, neighbours, John's family and a wide circle of friends.

Lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Sunday evening from 6pm to 7pm followed by prayers.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Monday at 3.30pm and will be passing her home in Birchvale en route to St. Patrick's Church, Bandon for Requiem Mass at 4pm which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
