who died on Friday 9th January 2026,
peacefully in her 90th year surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of Mooncoin Residential Care Centre. Predeceased by her husband Pat, parents Michael and Mary, sisters Peggy (Roche), Nellie (Irish) and Molly (Doherty) and grandson Patrick.
Kate will be sadly missed by her children Olga, PJ, Michael, Andrew, Anne Maria, Garrett and Roger, her 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, sons-in-law Thomas and William, daughters-in-law Marley, Betty, Therese and Wendy, sisters-in-law Biddy and Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extend family, neighbours and friends.
MAY KATE REST IN PEACE
Kate will be reposing in her home on Sunday, 11th January, from 11.30am until 5.30pm, Kate's removal will take place on Monday, 12th January to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am after which Kate will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
