The death has occurred of Katherine (Kitty) Kirby (nee Downey) Ballynamuddagh, Dromin, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, March 24th 2025, very peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of the late Christopher and sister of the late Maurice Downey. Very deeply regretted by her loving daughters Breda, Annette (Carroll), Carmel (O'Riordan) and Pauline (McAuliffe), son Michael, sons in law Paul, William and Clem, daughter in law Mary, her devoted grandchildren Sarah, James, David, Mark, John, Clement and Roisín, Sarah's partner Austin, great granddaughters Amy and Zara, cousins, relatives, very kind neighbours and her many friends.
May She Rest in Peace
Reposing this Wednesday evening (26th) from 6.30pm at Daffy's Funeral Home Kilmallock, followed by evening prayers at 8pm. Removal to arrive Thursday, for 12noon Requiem Mass at The Church of The Holy Trinity, Dromin, followed by burial afterwards to the local cemetery.
