Kathleen Beirne
(née Kavanagh)

BEIRNE KATHLEEN (née Kavanagh) 18th August 2025 in her 102nd year, late of Coliemore Road, Dalkey, in the loving and gentle care of all the staff at Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary and the Community Palliative Care Services of Our Lady’s Hospice.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Des, her son-in-law Robert, her sister Maura, her brothers Harry, Michael and Tom.

 

Kathleen will always be remembered with love by her daughters Eidin and Deirdre, her sons Ronan and Niall, her daughters-in-law Sheila and Barbara, her son-in-law Ian her grandchildren Conor, Sorcha (and Antony), Fergus (and Anne), Clíodhna (and Mark), Clare (and Timmy), Robert, Kevin, Cathy (and Ros) and Aisling, her honorary grandsons Yas and Taif and her great grandchildren Sadhbh, Arthur, Hugh, Liam, Caelan, Éabha, Síofra and Siobhan, her sister Eileen, her cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and across the world.

 

At Kathleen’s request her body has been donated to medical science.

 

Mass will be offered in the Church of the Assumption B.V.M. Dalkey this Saturday 23rd August at 10.00 A.M. Mass will be streamed to the parish web-site.
