Kathleen Bird
(née Molloy)
Kathleen Bird (nee Molloy) formerly of Doneraile, sadly passed away on the 28th of May 2023 in her 91st year after a long and wonderful life at her home in Ashtead, Surrey, surrounded by her loving family, after an illness bravely borne with great dignity and acceptance. She was the youngest daughter of Catherine and Joesph Molloy, beloved wife of the late John and sister to the late Paddy and May. Sadly missed by her son Chris, daughter Rosa, "the boys" Joseph and (wife Joanne) and Johnny (wife Geraldine), daughter-in-law Pat, son-in-law Paul, her grandchildren Robert, Georgina, (wife Letty), Michael (wife Akiko), Lucy, Patrick (partner Sarah B), Sean (partner Sheila), Sarah, Kit, Grace and Izzy. Great grandchildren Kaito and Jamie, nephews John and Patrick, niece Sarah. Her very good friends and cousins Pat (wife Fainsia) and Declan, all her relatives and friends in Doneraile, Wicklow, Clare and England.

Funeral Mass for Kathleen will take place on the 7th of July at 10am in St Michael’s Church, 25 A Woodfield Lane, Ashtead, KT212BQ, followed by cremation at 11:45am at Randall's Park Crematorium, Randall's Road, Leatherhead, KT220AG. There will be a Mass In The Church Of The Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile on Thursday the 7th of September at 2pm followed by burial of Kathleen's ashes in Oldcourt Cemetery, Doneraile.
