Kathleen passed away peacefully at home on May 8th with her family by her side following a long illness fought with unbelievable strength.  Deeply mourned by her husband Richie and their wonderful daughters Shauna and Kacey, her heartbroken parents Billy and Kate, sisters Mary, Bridie, Ann, Marguerite and Patricia, brothers John and James, sisters-in-law,  brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles, nephews,  nieces and cousins, the extended Burke and Carr family and a wide circle of friends. 

Fondly loved by all.

 A private family funeral will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue on Wednesday, 12th May at 11 a.m.  Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery,

All funeral arrangements will pay special attention to current guidelines on the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.

The route to the Church from Kathleen’s home will be as follows:  Leaving from Rian Luchra, straight onto Castle Park, right onto Castlepark Road, Ballybane Road and St. James Road. If you would like to stand anywhere along the route as a mark of respect please stay apart and stay safe.
