Kathleen Byrne

Kathleen (Kay) Byrne, 21 Brooklawns, Pollerton, Carlow formerly Davidstown, Donard, Co. Wicklow passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2025 while under the compassionate care of the staff at Dunlavin Nursing Home.

She will be deeply missed by her brother Sean, sister-in-law Anne, nephews Thomas and John and his wife Niamh, nieces Catherine and Mary and her husband Billy, grandniece Doireann, grandnephews Diarmuid, William and James, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Sunday from 4pm with removal at 7pm for private reposal.

Funeral arriving to The Church of Our Lady of Dolours and St. Patrick on Monday for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
