The death has occurred of Kathleen Carr (neé Gaynard O’Dwyer), Ballisnahina, Shrule, Co. Mayo, on the 20th of December 2025, peacefully at The Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeaseased by her husband Paddy O’Dwyer, daughter Kathleen Mary, parents, brothers and sisters.

Deeply regreated by her husband Willie, daughters Maureen and Caroline, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister Margaret Teehan (Co. Kerry), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen will repose at Cradock's Funeral home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Monday evening the 22nd of December from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence Tuesday morning the 23rd of December to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.
