Kathleen Dolores (Lorie) MacCarthy
(née Murray)
MacCarthy (Glandore): On January 17th, 2026 peacefully in the tender care of the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty, and in the presence of her loving family, Kathleen Dolores (Lorie), née Murray, loving mother of Paul, Seán, Joanna, Rory and Conor, Rushanes, Glandore. Deeply regretted by her loving family, 4 grand-children, daughters-in-law Kath, Ruth, Orla and Áine, brothers and sisters Mary, Jim, Angela, Seán, Clare, Anne and Paul, nephews, nieces, gran-nephews, gran-nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and her many close and dear friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahan’s funeral home on Monday, 19th January from 6.30pm to 8.00pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 20th January at 12 noon in Kilfachtnabeg Church, Glandore which will be live-streamed on the funeral service link below. Cremation service will take place on Wednesday, 21st January at 3.00pm in the Island Crematorium, Rinagskiddy, Cork.
