The passing has occurred of Kathleen Downey, formerly of Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Pre deceased by her husband Paddy and son Séamus. Much loved mother of Eileen, Declan, Grainne, Padraig and Joseph. Sadly missed by her loving family; daughters in law Margaret, Therese, Anne and Kathryn. Her grandchildren Emma, Ryan, Jennifer, Conor, Séan, Hannah, Rachel, Blaithin, Ciara, Kevin and David, her great-grandson Paddy, her brother Joe, and sister Nelly (of Pennsylvania, USA), sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May Kathleen's gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Monasterevin on Friday, 26th July, from 4pm to 7.30pm, with Rosary Recital at 7.30pm. Requiem mass on Saturday, 27th, at 11am in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin, with internment afterwards in St. Evin's Cemetery Monasterevin.
