The death has occurred of Kathleen Dunne (Née Cleary) – Hawthorn Crescent, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – January 30th 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Dearly loved mother of Noel, Linda, Anne, Michael and Niall and adored nanny of her
grandchildren Kelvin, Amy, Ciara, Tony, Ross, Elaine, Katie, Kirsty, Seán, Michaella, Bobby and Remy, and adored great nanny of her twelve great-grandchildren.

Kathleen will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her daughters-in-law, Janine, Ann and Ashling, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, kind neighbours and her many friends.

Remembering also the deceased members of the Dunne, Cleary and Maher families.

Reposing at her home at 3 Hawthorn Crescent, Mullingar (N91 X6C1) on Sunday February 1st from 3 pm concluding at 7 pm and house private at all other times please.

Kathleen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 2nd at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at the link below.
