KATHLEEN FINAN (née McCarthy) Celtic Avenue, Roscommon. October 29th, 2021; (Peacefully), in the loving and devoted care of Palliative Care Team and nursing staff at Roscommon University Hospital. Beloved wife of Michael and much loved mother to Michael, Paul, Ann-Marie and Catherine. She will be very sadly missed by her family, her sisters Lil, Mary and Joan, brother Paddy, grandchildren Zoe, Laura, Hannah, Cian, Conor, Shauna, Katie, Molly and Alice, daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law Walter and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

May Kathleen rest in peace.


Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Saturday from 4 o’c until 6 o’c. In adherence to current guidelines, this will be walk through only. Removal from her home on Monday at 12.30 o’c arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 1 o’c followed by burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Roscommon Palliative Care Team. The Finan family very much appreciate your support at this time.
