Kathleen Gaughan (née Ruddy), Tonemace, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet surrounded by her loving family on 27th October 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny and her sons, infant Malachy, John Joe, Kevin and Vincent, parents Martin and Sabina Ruddy, sisters May, Bridie and Sadie, brothers Tom, Paddy, Dave and Jim.

Beloved mother of Bridget, Ritchie, Patsy, Tony, David, Tommy, Malachy, J.T., Brendan and Martin. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Sheila (London), Margaret (U.S.A.) and Ellie (Naas, Co. Kildare), brother Martin (Ardmore, Co. Waterford), sisters in law Sarah (Rosslare, Co. Wexford) and Vera (Ballina), relatives, special friends Eddie and Ann Conroy and family (Tonemace), neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening from 5 O’Clock until 7 O’Clock with funeral arriving at Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet at 8.30. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 O’Clock followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
