Kathleen Hanafin
(née Fitzgerald)
Kathleen Hanafin (nee Fitzgerald) Lohercannon, Tralee, died peacefully on 18th April 2026, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Our Lady of Fatima Home, Tralee.
Predeceased by her husband Con.
Beloved mother of Philip and Maurice. Dearest cousin of Cora O Mahony and Noel O Leary.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters - in - law Martina and Yvonne, grandchildren Sarah, Luke and Ryan, Sarah's partner Sean and great grandson Kealan, sisters - in - law Noreen and Mary, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Kathleen will repose in the Rose Chapel Hogan’s Funeral Home, Tralee on Monday (20th April) from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.
Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Tuesday morning at 9.30am where requiem Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated at 10.00am

Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
