HAYES (late of Grillagh, Clonakilty): peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the loving and wonderful care of the staff in Riverview Residential Centre, Montenotte, Cork, following an illness bravely borne. KATHLEEN beloved daughter of the late Michael and Myra Hayes, dearly loved sister of Anne Burke (Leap), John Hayes (Australia), Marie Murphy (Crookstown) and Valerie McDermott (Clonakilty). Sadly missed by her loving family, partner Brian Cotter, life long friend Rosaleen Moore, brothers-in-law Pa Burke, Paddy Murphy and Kevin McDermott, sister-in-law Rose, adored nieces and nephews Donncha his wife Claire, Padraig, Ivana her husband Andrew, Ferdia, Laoise, Conor, Brian, Aoife, Darragh and Ethan, grandniece Saoirse, all the ladies and staff of Vicar’s Road, staff and friends of the Bays Glasheen, cousins, relatives and all who loved Kathleen.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 2pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Darrara, P85 C990. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
