Kathleen (Kate) passed away peacefully after a short illness bravely borne with courage and dignity in the presence of her loving husband and family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023. Beloved wife of Billy, much loved mother of Marie (Burns) and William and cherished grandmother of Kate and Liam. Dear sister of the late Mary, Garrett and Timmy. Deeply regretted by her husband, family, son-in-law Noel, William’s partner Gillian, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm followed by Prayers.
Reception into St. Lachteen's Church, Stuake on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, after which Kathleen will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of ward 1A in Cork University Hospital (CUH) and to the doctors and staff of Coachford Family Practice.
