Kathleen (Kathy) Barrett (nee Meagher), The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Boulea, The Commons, passed peacefully on 5th January 2026 in Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Mick, parents Dick and Madge, brother Dick and baby Barrett born sleeping. Deeply regretted by her children Birdy, Michael, Dick, Margaret and Kay, grandchildren Rachel, Michael, Michael, Seán and Laura, sons in law Stephen (Delaney), and David (Flanagan), daughter in law Triona (Delaney), Birdy's partner Dick (Gahan), relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Kathy Rest in Peace

Reposing at O'Connell's Funeral Home, Killenaule (E41 HH66) this Tuesday evening 6th of January from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday in Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry at 11.30 am. Followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
