Kathleen (Kay) Leonard
(née Sutton)
LEONARD (née Sutton), Kathleen (Kay) (Huntstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Maryland, Cork Street, Dublin 8) July 3rd 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of Francis (Fran) and much loved mother of Nicole, Ian and Erica. Predeceased by her sister Pauline and brother-in-law Pat. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, sisters Rita and Bernie, grandchildren Jack, Adam, Millie and Alex, sons-in-law David and Billy, daughter-in-law Helen, brother-in-law Martin, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Friday evening (July 5th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Saturday morning (July 6th) to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Huntstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Kathleen’s funeral Mass may be viewed online (live only) at 11.00am on Saturday morning by following this LINK. Family flowers only please. A special a word of thanks to the Oncology Team in Beaumont Hospital, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown for the wonderful care Kay received throughout her illness.
