O’Brien (Carrigaline) On February 28th 2025 unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her 94th year at the Bon Secours Hospital, Kathleen (Kay) nee Desmond beloved wife of the late Michael and dear mother of Anne (Payne), Bertie, Carol, Mary, Michael, Lynda (O’Kelly) and the late Frank, sister of the late Nora, Phil, Sheila, Tadhg, Frank and Dan. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Leslie, Habib, Ronan, and Denis, daughters-in-law Bernadette, Kathy Soo-O’Brien and Susanne, sisters Maureen (Farrell), Helen (Twomey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Sunday (2nd) from 1:30pm until 2:30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (3rd) at 2:15pm at Church of Our Lady and St. John, Carrigaline which may be viewed here (Link Here).
