The death has occurred of Kathleen Frances Kelly (née Vesey), Valeview, Lisalway, Castlerea, County Roscommon, formerly Rotherham, UK.

Peacefully, 2nd March 2025 aged 94 in the presence of her family, in the loving and kind care of the staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.

 

Predeceased by her husband Tommy Kelly, parents Martin and Ellen Vesey, sister Delia, brothers Patrick, Martin and Michael.

 

Deeply regretted by her son John and his partner Patricia, daughters Maureen (Kirk) (Rotherham), Frances (Kilmurray) and her partner Sean, Ann (Maffeis) (Swansea) and her husband Thierry, Angela (Farr) (Rotherham) and her husband Stanley and Pauline (Derby) and her partner Steve, grandchildren Ben and his wife Katie, Joseph, Charlotte and her husband Patrick, Patrick, James, Eleanor, Lucy and Ryan, great grandchildren Charlie and Daisy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

A special word of thanks to the lovely dedicated staff in Aras Mathair Phoil who always took such great care of Kathleen over the last five years.

 

May She Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett (Eircode: F45 HX59), on Wednesday 5th March from 5.30pm until 7pm.

Followed by removal to St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray (Eircode: F45 K889).

Requiem Mass on Thursday 6th March at 12 noon.

Followed by burial afterwards in Rathmoyle Cemetery.
