The death has occurred of
Kathleen Keohane
(née Maguire)
On July 8th, 2025, Kathleen passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving daughter and grandchildren in the wonderful care of the staff of Palliative Care at Bantry General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick (Paudie), dear mother of Liz (Maguire) Granny to Jack and Katie. Sadly missed by her loving family, nieces Valerie Baker and Claudine Maguire, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Liz would like to thank Kathleen's outstanding and loyal Carers for their care and friendship. A special word of thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Ward 1B At Cork University Hospital for the wonderful care shown to Kathleen during her recent stay.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Thursday July 10th from 6.30pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday July 11th at 12 noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
