Kathleen Lawrence

The death has occurred of Kathleen Lawrence (nee Maughan) 34 Rathbawn Avenue, Castlebar and formerly of Riverdale Court, Castlebar – peacefully at her home.

Dearly loved wife of Bernard and loving mother of Michael and Mary; only daughter of Jimmy and Mary nee Lawrence,  Riverdale Court,  Castlebar ;  adored granny of Ciaran and Kathleen.

She will be  sadly missed by her husband,  son,  daughter , parents,  grandchildren,  son-in-law,  brother Jimmy,  her mother- in- law Ellen (Ballina),  brothers-in-law,  sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces,  cousins,  relatives,  work colleagues, neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Aged 49 years Kathleen was well known in the community and worked for many years at Mayo University Hospital until her illness 4 months ago.

Kathleen will repose  at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Saturday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock.

Funeral Mass in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Sunday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery, Newport Road,  Castlebar.
