The death has occurred of Kathleen Marcella Byrne, nee Lavin, late of 70 Sancta Maria Terrace, Swinford and formerly of London and Midfield. Peacefully and serenely in the loving care of the staff of Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar, on Sunday, 18 May 2025.
Predeceased by her beautiful sons, James, Patrick, John and her adoring husband, Dominic, her siblings, John, Mary Attracta, Jim, and her parents, Kate & James Lavin.
Survived and regretted by her nephews and nieces, her extended family and many dear friends and kind neighbours

Reposing in Boland's Funeral Home, Swinford (F12K122) this Tuesday evening, 20th May from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, with removal to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford, arriving at 8.30 pm.
Funeral Mass this Wednesday afternoon, 21st May at 1.00 pm in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford, burial immediately afterwards in Midfield Cemetery, Swinford.
Kathleen Marcella's Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Swinford Parish
