The death has occurred of
Kathleen Mary (Marie) Moynihan
(née O'Donovan)
Marie Moynihan, Lakeview, Castleredmond, Midleton and formerly of Rathgobane, Ballincurrig. On September 3rd, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Cork University Hospital. Marie (née O’Donovan), dearly beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Geraldine (Conroy), Denis, Marian (Wickliffe), Annette, Veronica and the late Josephine and William. Dearly loved grandmother of William and his wife Claire, Seán and his fiancée Lauren, Monica and her fiancé Kalem, Liam and Marcus. Great-grandmother of Theo, Benny, Donnacha, Gráinne and Reuben.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, Geraldine’s husband Martin, Marian’s partner Miguel, sister-in-law Eilín Moynihan, Brother-in-law Bill Higgins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Marie Rest In Peace
Marie will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25X382 on Friday (5th) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Funeral Mass In Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
