Kathleen McCarthy
(née O'Donnell)
McCARTHY (née O’Donnell), (Model Farm Road, Cork & late of Cloghane, Co. Kerry); On February 15th, 2026, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family. KATHLEEN (formerly on the staff of Scoil Naomh Eoin Aspal, Mayfield), adored mother of Nuala, Michael, Thomas and Kate. Predeceased by her sister Mary. Deeply regretted by her brothers Michael and Gerard and Michael’s wife Mary.
Sadly missed by her loving children and their father Vincent, sons-in-law Thomas and Con, her beloved grandchildren Jeana Kate, Phoebe, Seán and Mollaí, nieces and nephew, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Tuesday (February 17th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 12.00noon on Wednesday (February 18th) in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy’s Cross which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice where she received exceptional care.
