Kathleen Morrison, Ballygibbon, Mogeely and formerly of Gaggin, Bandon.

 

On October 5th 2024 peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, in her 97th year.

 

Kathleen (nee Walsh) beloved wife of the late Dan Joe and much loved Mam of Kathleen (Kennedy) Richard, Donal, Helen (Ryan), Imelda (McCarthy) and Angela (Loughnane). Loving Nana of Karl, Louise, Lucy, Alison, Heather, Ella, Daniel, Kevin, Emma, Amy, Conor, Máire, Kathryn, Brendan and Fiona.

 

Sister of the late Fr. Christy, Anna, Sr. Teresa, Mary, Sheila, Con and Donal.

 

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, daughter-in-law Valerie, sons in-law John, Tom, Donal and Tony. Sister-in-law Mary Walsh, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Kathleen will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton on Monday 7th from 5pm to 7pm.

 

 

Funeral Mass will take place in The Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely, on Tuesday 8th at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial with her beloved Dan Joe in All Saints Cemetery, Mogeely.

Kathleen’s family would like to acknowledge the care and attention Kathleen received from the staff at the Macauley Centre, Midleton. The Doctors, Nurses and staff of St. Brigids Ward at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Dr Barbara Dundon and Kathleen’s team of home carers.
