Kathleen O' Brien née Murphy, Ardroe, Inch.

 

Kathleen passed away on Thursday November 27th 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

 

Beloved wife of the late John O' Brien and Grandmother to the late Michael O' Donnell, sister to the late Tommy Murphy, Mae McDonald née Murphy and Mikey Murphy.

 

She will be sadly missed by her daughters Jane (Cullen), Kathy and Anna (O' Donnell), sons-in-law, Stephen and John Joe, her adored grandchildren Sarah, Jason and Millie and her great-granddaughter Rosie, her brothers Paddy, Martin and Noel and her sisters Bridget, Phil and Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, the O' Flaherty Family, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and her furry grandchildren Darcy and Nidge.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, Castlemaine V93XNE2 Sunday evening (Nov. 30th) from 5pm - 7pm.

Removal from her residence Monday morning (Dec. 1st) to St. Joseph's Church, Inch for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Inch Cemetery.

 

The family would like to thank the Home help care team, the palliative nurses and Annascaul medical centre for their care of Kathleen especially over the last couple of weeks.
