Kathleen O'Connell (née Sheehy), Woodview, Cahirdown, Listowel and formerly of Rathea, Lyreacrompane and London. Peacefully, on April 12th, 2026, after a short illness surrounded by her loving family and friends, in the tender care of the nurses and doctors of I.C.U and the Palliative Care Team in University Hospital Kerry. Predeceased by her husband Bernie, parents Hannah and Mick and her brother Mike. Beloved mother of Danny and Joanne and adored grandmother of Danny and Patrice. Sadly missed by her brother Eamon, son-in-law Patrick, Danny's partner Bernie, sisters-in-law Noreen and Kathleen, brother-in-law Billy, nephew, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Tuesday evening (April 14th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church, Listowel on Wednesday morning at 10.15am, with the Requiem Mass for Kathleen being celebrated at 10.30am, live-streamed on www.listowelparish.com , followed by burial afterwards in St. John Paul II Cemetery, Ballybunion Road, Listowel.
