O’REILLY (Ballinvuskig West, Mourneabbey and late of Turner’s Cross and Ballyphehane, Cork): On August 31st, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Mercy University Hospital, KATHLEEN (née Kelly), loving wife of the late William (Bill) O’Reilly (Cobh) and Jack Scannell (Douglas), cherished mam of Sandra, Aileen, Eric, Kenneth, Jacqueline, Leonard and John, adoring sister of Rita and the late Edward, Anthony, Donal, John, Denis, Eileen and Betty.

Sadly missed by her loving children and family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (September 2nd) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (September 3rd) in Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane.

Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.

The family wish to thank all the staff at the Mercy University Hospital for their kindness, care and attention to detail with assisting Kathleen.
