Kathleen passed away, suddenly on Christmas Eve in UCHG.

Pre-deceased by her sisters, Betty Thompson (UK) and Rose Hynes (Dublin).

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her nieces, Lisa and Julie and her nephew Alan, her grand-nieces and nephews, Libby, Conor, Lucas, Ben, Katy and Callum, her great-grand niece and nephew, Finley and Ruby, her close and treasured friends, Lizzie and her huband Martin and their sons, Daniel and Diarmuid (Foran), Áine O'Reilly, Mary and Laura Coughlan and Lizzie Fogarty, the former staff and residents of Catleturvin Nursing Home Athenry and the residents and staff of Bushfield Nursing Home in Oranmore, and the many, many other people whose lives Kathleen touched.

Kathleen will lie in repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village on Wednesday evening, 28th December from 5pm to 7pm, with removal afterwards to St Brigid's Church Portumna.

Requiem Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated in Thursday at 11am, with burial taking place afterwards in Killtullagh Cemetery.
