Comeragh Crescent, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
and formerly of
St. Patrick's Terrace, Abbeyside
Kathleen passed away peacefully in the tender care of staff at St. Enda's Unit, Dungarvan Community Hospital on 1st August 2023. Kathleen is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters Caroline Mackintosh and Teresa Valentine, sons-in-law Ian Mackintosh and Roger Valentine, granddaughters Nic and Siobhan, great granddaughters Sapphire and Poppy, brothers John and Nicky Shanahan, sister-in-law Mary Shanahan, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Nicholas and Mary Shanahan, sister Anna and brother Paddy.
Kathleen will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan (X35 XN79) on Thursday evening, 3rd August, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 6.30 p.m Reposing on Friday evening, 4th August, from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, 5th August, at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in St. Laurence's Cemetery, Ballinroad.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Palliative Care at Dungarvan Community Hospital.
