Kathleen POYNTON (née Egan), Rath, Ballynacargy (formerly of Jeffreystown, Monilea) January 21, 2026 (peacefully) at home, surrounded by her loving family; dearly loved Mam of Amanda, Paul (Sarah) and Sarah (Dean), Kathleen will be sadly missed and always remembered by her daughters and son, cherished Granny of Hollie, Shay, Cormac, Romy and Zara, brothers Michael, John, P.J., Tom, James and Martin, sisters Mary, Nancy, Helen, Bridie, Margaret and Doreen, Aunt Margaret, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, husband Bill Ennis, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar today Thursday, January 22, from 5.00 o'c., concluding with prayers at 8.00 o'c. Funeral Mass will take place at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar at 1.00 o'c., on Friday afternoon January 23, followed afterwards by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Fund c/o the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cúin Suite, Medical 1, MRH, Mullingar, for their excellent care and kindness given to Kathleen during her time there.
