SCALLAN (née  Smyth) Kathleen (Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Turret Road Palmerstown, Dublin 20) January 18, 2022, died peacefully, in the tender care of the dedicated Staff, at The Royal Hospital, Donnybrook, following a long illness. Beloved wife of the late James Scallan and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her children, Annette, Margaret, Rosaleen and Marie, her grandchildren, Hazel, Shona, Victoria, Tadhg, Finnegan, Jack, Elva, and Elisha, great grandchildren, Fiona, Rosemary, Anna, Aidan and Elijah, sons-in-law, Alan, John, Rangan and Roy (RIP), nieces and nephews and extended family, friends and residents of The Royal Hospital.

Reposing at her daughter Rosaleen’s house on Friday January 21, from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, January 22, 10am, at the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion. This will be followed at 12pm (approx.) by Kathleen’s cremation at the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
