Kathleen Swanick (nee Kelly), Aras Mhathair Phoil, Castlerea and late of 22 New Estate, Knockroe, Castlerea Co. Roscommon and formerly of Glenamaddy, Co. Galway. September 19th, 2023; (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband James (Jimmy). Kathleen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters; Tony (Castlerea), David (Birmingham), Sean (America), Maire and Philomena (Birmingham). Her adored grandchildren; John-Paul, Kieran, Catherine, Eamonn, Michael, Reiss, Claire and Ryan. Her great-grandchildren Isla, Esme, Tilly, Oliver, Louis, Mollie, Myles, Jack and Rory. Kathleen will also be missed by her brothers and sisters; Michael (Glenamaddy), Tommy (Australia), Mary (U.K.), Phil, Margaret and Eibhlin (U.S.A.). Son-in-law Kevin, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Mavis and Anne. Nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal at 7.15pm to St Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
