On October 8th 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loving family, in the wonderful care of staff in St Joseph’s Unit, Bantry General Hospital. KATHLEEN, (formerly of Lisheen, Gneeveguilla), beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of Michael, Noreen (O’Donovan), Carmel (Glasswell), Brendan, Maria (Aldred), Patricia (Hockaday) and the late John, dear sister of Paddy (Lisheen), the late Norah Mai, Hannah, John Brendan, Mary, Eileen, Timmy and Mossie, sister-in-law to Eileen, Mary, Jo and Patie. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Tadhg, David, Mathew, and Martin, daughters-in-law Caron and Catherine, grandchildren Chloe, Jonathan, Tanya, Esther, Philip, Joshua, Nicole, Andrew, Jonathan, Joanna, Rosie, Jordan and Caleb, great grandchildren Dominic, Kiara, Maddie, Emilia and Ryker, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Friday Oct. 11th from 6.30pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday Oct. 12th at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to St Joseph’s Unit, Bantry General Hospital
