Unexpectedly, but peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken family on the 22nd of March 2025. Predeceased by her parents James & Winnie Masterson, and her brother Mattie. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, her children Mark, Alison & Edel, her brothers James & Bernard, sisters MB, Anna Rose, Winnie & Dympna, daughter-in-law Darcie, son-in-law David, her adored grandchildren Terrance, Quinlan, Maddox & Ailish, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, her wonderful neighbours & friends, and her constant companion Millie.

A special thank you to the fantastic staff of Comfort Keepers who provided such care and dignity to Kathleen over the last 2 years.

Reposing at her home in Boolies, Oldcastle, Co Meath (A82 HH60) on Monday the 24th of March from 4pm-8pm. Kathleen’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 10.30am in St. Brigid’s Church, Oldcastle with burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s cemetery.
