The sudden & unexpected death of Katie Callaghan (née Prendergast) has occurred in her home in Lanzarote. Formerly of Coolfore, Drogheda and Clonmel, Katie will be lovingly remembered by her children Aymie, Rory, Ian & Ruth, her siblings Gay, Mick & Steve, daughters-in-law Jean & Catherine, sons-in-law Paul & Joe, precious grandchildren Eva, Cara, Henry, Lucy, George, Charlie and Finn, extended family and many many dear friends.

Reposing at the Home of her daughter Aymie (Bryanstown, Drogheda A92 AF43) from 2 o’ clock until 6 o’ clock on Sunday evening. In keeping with current Government guidelines Katie’s Funeral Mass can have up to 50 family and friends in attendance. Funeral Mass on Monday, 30th August, at 11 o’ clock  will be streamed live on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie from St. Mary’s Church, James Street, Drogheda followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium at 13.40hours. Katie's family have requested that you wear colourful clothes when attending Katie’s Funeral and join them in celebrating her beautiful life.  Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Irish Hospice Foundation.  Please follow social distancing guidelines.
