The death has occurred of
Katie (Kathleen) Hickey
HICKEY (late of Carbery Town, Glanmire and formerly of Caherlag, Cork):
On April 2nd 2026, peacefully, in the tender care of all the staff at Brookfield Care Centre and in the presence of her family, KATIE (KATHLEEN), sister of Anthony, predeceased by her sisters Anne and Mary and her brothers Joe, Willie and Donal.
Sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, especially Linda, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Holy Saturday (April 4th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Easter Monday (April 6th) in the Sacred Heart Church Glounthaune which will be live streamed
Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the
Alzheimer's Unit, Brookfield Care Centre
House Private.
