Katrina Loughran
(née O’Rourke)
Katrina Loughran née O’Rourke, Kincora Terrace, Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on 29th March 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of the late Pat (March 2009), cherished mother of Róisín (Dundalk), Paddy (Dublin) and the late Mary, much-loved nana to Mary-Anne, Ted, Alice, Max, Geordan, Sarah and Zoe and sister of Jacinta, Pat, Kevin the late Peter and Carmel. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken daughter, son, grandchildren, sister, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Miriam, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

Katrina will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk (A91 XW66), from 3pm until 7pm on Tuesday. HOUSE PRIVATE AT ALL TIMES. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am from her Home to Church of Holy Redeemer (A91 NY2Y), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).
