The death has occurred of
Kay Burke
(née Buckley)
On December 19th, 2025, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and friends and in the wonderful care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. KAY (ex: Bus Éireann) formerly of Grenagh, beloved daughter of the late John and Nora Buckley, adored mother of Emma, Heather Kate (Ryan), Seán and Donnacha, dear sister of John, Noreen (O’Flynn), Tim and Angela (Brady).
Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Shannon, daughter-in-law Krystal and Anders, grandchildren Daithí, Neala Belle, Setanta, Croía, Saoirse, Rí and Odhran, brother-in-law Jack and Mary, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry, P75 YW58 on Friday Dec. 26th, from 3pm to 5pm with vigil prayers at 5pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday Dec. 27th, at 11am at St. Bridgid’s Church, Ballydehob followed by a private cremation.
Family Flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital.
