Kay (Kathleen) Griffin (nee Mitchell) Kilmurry Cordal Castleisland Co. Kerry and formerly of Gortshanafa Currow. Peacefully on August 22nd 2025 after a long illness bravely borne. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughter Elaine (O'Connor, Mitchelstown), sons Michael, Paul and John, son-in-law Jason, daughters-in-law Helen and Theresa, her adored and precious grandchildren Ben, Rory, Cillian, Jack and Matthew, brother Flor, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, many friends and her former work colleagues at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee. Also remembering today her deceased parents Maurice and Julia , her brother Neily, nephew Thomas and niece Sheila.

Reposing at Tangney's Funeral Home Church Street Castleisland on Wednesday evening (Aug 27th) from 5pm to 7pm . Removal from her residence on Thursday morning at 10/15am arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am . Burial afterwards in Tobar na bhFionn Cemetery Cordal . The Mass will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland
