Kay (Kathleen) Matthews

Matthews, Kay (Kathleen) (née Kavanagh), (Palmerstown, Dublin) August 31st, 2025. Peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Frank and cherished mother of Shenda, Brian, Frank, Catriona and the late Fergus. Adored granny of Cian, Adelaide, Madeline, Erin, Karina, Leah, Lena and Robbie. Predeceased by her much loved siblings Paddy, May, Margaret, Teresa, John and Noel. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Pauline and Eileen, brothers Tony and Dessie, grandchildren, son-in-law Killian, daughter-in-law Beckie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (September 4th) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning (September 5th) to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
