Kay Kavanagh (Née Duffy)

Late of Broguemakers Hill, Kilkenny,

Kay passed away on 22nd November 2025- peacefully in the wonderful care of Sutherland Hospital (Sydney, Australia) surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Alice (Peachy), father Patrick (Dicky) and brother Joe. Kay will be deeply missed by her loving husband Martin, her daughters Rowena and Aoife, her sons Nigel and Cathal, her sisters and brothers, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, grandchildren, cousins, and her many friends.

Kay’s Funeral service will take place in Woronora Cemetery- West Chapel, Sydney, on Thursday (27th November) at 10:30am (Sydney time). Following the service, we will gather for a wake to continue sharing stories, comfort, and support at Cronulla RSL at 12pm. For family and friends in Ireland and abroad who cannot attend, the service will be live streamed on Wednesday 26 November at 11:30pm Irish time. A separate service will be held in Kilkenny at a later date; details will be shared once confirmed.
